We wanted to give you the insights of the CVI Ermelo 2019, as the beginning of the season is still full of surprises and new freestyles have been shown. From the 3rd to the 5th of May, Senior 3* and Junior 2* vaulters gathered in the Netherlands.
This weekend was a huge gathering for the Vaulting World in Saumur 2019, France. The combination of a CVI and the FEI Vaulting World Cup Final created a huge enthusiasm. The beautiful arena was a perfect place to host this CVI and the Final, that we all enjoyed just like a show.

Next weekend the FEI Vaulting World Cup™ Final 2018/2019 will take place in Saumur (France) from April 18th to 21st and we would like to give you an overview of the participants and the current standings.
We all know that vaulting is a special form of dance that amplifies the connection between horse and vaulter and it is up to us to make sure that this connection is expressed to the audience. We can all appreciate how tough this is, and to continue to express through the music whilst trying to focus on maintaining strength and harmony is no doubt the most difficult part of vaulting. With the scoring system making the artistic element increasingly important, maintaining expression is paramount along with having a great variety of moves. Here we will show you how the judges score you to help to further understand the artistic scoring system, as well as give you hints and tips on how to improve your artistic score.

Horses and their maintenance are expensive and most vaulters have experienced times when they don’t have a horse. Some insiders of our sport (we cannot mention them yet) have told us that they made a proposal: To include vaulting on a bike instead of on a horse in competitions. This new vaulting trend would facilitate many vaulters to compete on a moving item and to improve their balance.
