Halloween is around the corner and we are sure that many of you love to dress up for this occasion! But vaulters do not only like to dress up for Halloween, they also love to dress up for their freestyles. Here is a selection of some creepy freestyle themes that might inspire you for your Halloween costume this year:
> Kristina Boe (Bellatrix Lestrange) ranked sixth at the World Championships and won the German Championships in 2014 with her freestyle inspired by Bellatrix Lestrange, one of the Death Eaters and witches out of the books and films of Harry Potter. Hocus pocus!

> The team from VG Pill TU Schwaz (The Skeletons) in Austria performed a scary freestyle representing skeletons in 2016. Great costumes and impressive make-up! Frightening!

> Our World Champion of the Juniors 2017 Juan Martin Calvijo (The Joker) showed a sophisticated freestyle as the fictional character the Joker this year. Scary, no?

> Amalric Watel represented a crazy zombie or something alike this year competing in Saumur, Ermelo, Rugby and at the French Championships among others. Can you see the craziness in his eyes?

> The first team of the German vaulting club VVI Ingelsberg (The Dance of the Vampires) showed a freestyle inspired by the German musical “Tanz der Vampire” (“Dance of the Vampires) in 2007. They won the European Championship in Kaposvár (Hungary) in 2007 with this freestyle.

> Torben Jacobs and Pia Engelberty (Twilight) won the German Championships and the silver medal at the European Championships in Aachen 2015 and the World Cup 2016 with their vampire freestyle inspired by the film Twilight.
